After rigorous trainings, management reviews and numerous validations, the Quality Management System Certificate No. RQM5464 was issued by KMAR on February 16, 2015 and valid until February 15, 2018 with the service range on Public Administration for the Municipal Government.
The municipal offices registered to the DCC the 39 quality management procedures based on their operations and the QMR registered 6 High Level / Mandatory procedures with the effectivity date on July 28, 2014.
This is after its initiation by the Ilocos Norte government headed by Gov. Imee R. Marcos, the league of municipalities agreed to support the provincewide ISO accreditation. Being ISO-certified, national and international investors are assured for the quality services the local government could provide transparency in terms of better delivery of basic services and faster processing of documents.
ISO is an acronym for “International Organization for Standardization” derived from the Greek word “isos”, meaning “equal.” It is a body that oversees service procedures and gives state of the art specifications for products, services and good practice, helping to make industry more efficient and effective.
